White Guard

The elite White Guard is the core defence of the empire. The white guard has a long history, being in service since the days of the old kingdom, serving the king as primary guards and defence purposes. Seldom is the White Guard engaged in war, except n dire situations. The whites guards together with noble paladins defend their king loyally, trained to never surrender. Their forte is the collective strength and mind. In peaceful times, they are often used as escorts or ceremonial purposes.

The empire is a small but affluent totalarian society ruled by a rich dictator, Lord Meng, which spends no time crushing his opposers and naysayers. He would want the people of his land to fear him than to love him, always finding ways to milk the gold of the poor peasants. He has sinced passed the governing rule to his son, Aros, a paladin, retiring to an 'advisory mentor' role, giving advice.

When Meng was a paladin in the old kingdom, he managed to convince and sway the loyalty of the white guards to his side to overthrow the king. White guards, who loyally pledge 'to protect the king at all costs', was divided for the first time. Meng's reply was that "... at that time, circumstances made the king obsolete. White guards has always been essential to the defence of the land and governance, always serve to protect the people of the free world. Do not doubt their service to the people, for they are honorable and just..."
